More GC news: Picked up two releases of late: The new Polly Harvey single featuring a GC remix - the track leaves the vocal more or less intact (I assume, I've never heard the original) and places it on top of slightly scary portentious ambience - works very well I reckon, but then I am a PJ Harvey fan too. Also a Universal Language production - NY Connection 'Bless the Funk' which is marvellous housey house with top P-funk synth whistles and super subtle but mightily effective buildups. Who is responsible? Finally I heard two new GC songs on the radio over the past couple of weeks both of them house and both rather wonderful. If you live and London, and don't listen to Patrick Forge on Kiss on a Sunday evening (8-10, followed by Giles Peterson (back after too long an absence) ) then now is the time to start. Anyway, one of the tracks was the new single 'The Deep', the other was a remix of Azimuth (who?) but I asked in Fat Cat yesterday, and neither of them are out yet. Cheers Andrew C.

Does anyone know when this single will be released.. it has been played out by various people for ages, surely it must be up for release soon?.. Dan
