Just home from a sold out Orbital show here in Boston. For those of you
who are remotely familiar w/Beantown radio, you'll be surprised (or
perhaps not?) to hear that WBCN and Wrackin Role Promoters Don Law pulled
the night off sucessfully (in a 'pack the venue' manner which confounds
me). Whatever, in the words of Boston's one true jungle promoter,
"it's gonna get bigga!" Al Fooje

gosh darn it, I still don't own this, should I be contacting submerge?
and how about Titonton? why do I feel like I'm missing out here? and
speaking of morgan geist, he's coming up to spin an old school 'proto'
house set here in Boston on my birthday. 617-937-4100

Who gives about the tracknames, my experience has been that Caustic Window
material is often rife with spot on aggressive to elegant listening.
How perfect, just last night I put down the Joyrex J9 picture disc
(303side;) to end our reinitiation of Trainspot! Tuesdays happening here
in Boston. In my dreams I'm on the cover of Jockey Slut with the J9i
strung around my neck like a benzo ornament around the neck of mike d

Quite contrary to Mike B's opinion on what he calls one of the best of 96,
I wasn't overly impressed w/EARTH. I still have it and will attempt to
find the shiners, but I feel the "4sale bug" moving it dangerously close
to the white bag. Speaking of which, mail me for the latest list. Please
put the words WHITE BAG in your subject to facilitate facilitation. And
for the record, don't ever say you want to buy something and later say 'if
you already sent it I'll send it back'. That's the stinky poop we don't
take kindly to, not the stinky kind which is the poop right about harvest
time. Anyway.

INDEEEED! CD livers will delight in the end to end brilliance this CD.
A PhD thesis of sorts, defending his claim to creating some of the most
innovative sample based techno fusion dance music out there. Can someone
document how much of this material comes from previously released 12"'s?
Which by the way does not detract in any way from the importance of this
release. In fact, this CD even presents itself to be a more cohesive
listen then the BFC comp released earlier this year on Planet E.
And last, I nominate "the sound board" as official "during performance"
meeting spot for IDMers. ;-)

ps boston I need U!
http://beyond.hnt.com/rt/tspot.htm Last night our
numbers were dreadful, but the dance floor was ramalama, superbly diverse
croud, lots of good hearted a/v, lights, and sound doobies (dedicated
volunteers). with a strong showing in subsequent weeks we can make a case
for the initiation of a 2nd more ambient/dub/funk/jazz room which is
crying out for attention. pass it all around!
