For the past month I've been playing the dickens
out of Sean Deason's: Razorback lp and Jupiter
Sunrise ep both on the K7! label and I can say
that both of these will be in my top 10 of 96.
Both releases are filled smooth soulful techno
in the Carl Craig, As One, B-12 style. There is
even a nice intelligent jungle piece too.
Many of you on the IDM list are probably unfamiliar
with the artist Sean Deason. But he's been big in
the detroit techno scene for quite a few years.
He has his own label, Matrix, which as released
material from Dan Bell, Morgan Geist, Alan Oldham,
Mark Gage, and Sean himself.
Check the his stuff. You won't be disappointed.
