I bought this in HMVs a couple of weeks ago. Since the disk was sealed,
and I was unaware of the video game, I bought on the basis of the artists.
It is released by Astralworks in the US.
1: FSOL "We have Explosive"
2: Fluke "Atom Bomb"
3: Chemical Bros "Loops of Fury"
4: Underworld "Tin There"
5: Photek "The 3rd Sequence"
6: Chemical Bros "Leave Home"
7: FSOL "We have Explosive - different mix"
8: Prodigy "Firestarter - Instrumental"
9: Fluke "Usix"
10: Daft Punk "Musique"
11: Source Direct "2097"
12: Photek "Titan"
13: Orbital "Petrol"
14: Leftfield "Afro Ride"
It is kind of like hanging on the front of a runaway express train. It
must be a unique game to have these sorts of artists provide these mixes.
Although I do not regret buying it, it is tough to listen to it all the
way through since it is very relentless.
Haven't heard of Source Direct and Daft Punk, but have CDs and/or tracks
of everyone else. The most interesting track is Leftfield.
For those of you value length it is 78+ minutes.
If I play this, I always play another recently purchased 2fer by Bill
Laswell called ambient compendium first disk right afterwards it winds me
down.
