Has somebody heard the new Gianelli Sahko release? Still haven't gotten it and wouldn't mind a brief synopsis on its sonic contents so I can want it even more than I already do. I know of it having two long tracks, & curious wether it sounds like the Fred Vom Jupiter release on Telepathic..... (possibly spikier?) On another note (after noticing the Cheap Thrills post), as I've noticed the lack of stores 'round these ways, if ya live between Vancouver & Winnipeg & need sum electronic & experimental stuff.......... My apologies if semi-shameless plug, (back to regular postings...) but I thought the starving lands west of me might want to know, especially as I've got a lot o' stuff regularly talked about on da list... (think of the Canadian equivalent of Synaptic) John Quest HOUSE OF COLDCUTS(for the neurochemically-inclined & naturally elevated) 405 Graham Ave. Winnipeg, Manitoba CANADA R3C 0L3 Toll Free: 1-888-2-COLDCU [TS] Fax: (204) 989-2111 Email: coldcuts@netcom.ca http://www.i-nu.com/coldcuts/ (bear with us in regards to the page, as it's only an animated gif of our alien butcher mascot & our address until we mark it up later this week) (so you have to type the addresses in yourself...so kill me. I'll mark 'em properly when this preemie figures out how in the next day) NP: Alio Die - Suspended Feathers And if your passing through this province, don't have a car stereo, & sick of the lack of proper radio stations... we particularly like the 87.5 & 96.8 areas of the dial, as they provide you with the best frequency fluctuations as far as I've heard, with enough changes to keep you occupied. Like Chris Meloche & Disinformation having a friendly duel. (guess who's been stuck with a new car with no stereo for the past couple o' weeks...... ;-)....) If anybody in the area could suggest other bandwidths of interest....

new? the newest Giannelli is another comp of 12" cuts on Superstition. that Sahko CD (_Telepathic Romance_ - Sahko-011) has been out for months. it's a gem - almost nonexistantly minimalist but with these bold sweeps of stringy synth. very subtle and very elegant. something like the quietest and least beat-oriented moments of Mark Gage's Cusp LP on ~swim. np: L.Slater's 7th Plane - _The Four Cornered Room_
