Might be some Goldie. Didn't hear much of his 12"ers but on the LP the 2nd track (can't remember the name) could fit that exact description. also one or two tracks from the Platinium Breakz comp are on the same tip. Mind you I should've kept the Goldie disc for that track only, but then again if I realy want some acid tweaked jungle I can always put on some old Space Cube track. Regards, Eylon. Snow.

Ho ho ho. I don't think Goldie's gotten within hailing distance of this kind of stuff. Not really IDM per se so I won't bore the list, but this was darkside/techstep at its finest and it rocked my world. Mikebee told me what it was, but shortly thErEaftEr I found mysElf in a slightly diffErEnt statE and unfortunatEly forgot ... mebbe the Boy will enlighten me. - Greg

that was exactly what it was. while i can't give you track names, but labels to watch if you dig this kind of thing: emotif, metalheadz, no-u-turn, reinforced...artists ed rush, dj trace, a little bit of *newer* goldie stuff (such as the new Terminator record out anytime now), a bit of doc scott's stuff...it's all over the board. dj traces' 'mutant revisited' (aformentioned by me) was played like six times that night. rewinds all around... are you looking for the title of a specific track? the stormer that hit all the headz that night was a secret selection to be released months from now... mikebee
