It was on Technovisions #1. Sounds

Yeah, I love their old stuff--gives me rush that few other things in the same style do. Are they still releasing techno? I thought they had dumped the beats for a more ambient sound. Ashok

Syzygy now records as "Fluid" on his own NO BONES label. BONES001 "Fluid - The man with 3 heads" was out about a month ago; BONES002 "Fluid - Thoughtography" is scheduled for next month. There is also a Fluid track on "B is for Broccoli". I recently picked up this album at my local specialty shop in Canada for $10 used. It has been the best thing I've ever bought for $10. The album is Syzygy - Morphic Resonance and clocks in at over 70 minutes of music. It is copyright 1994 to Rising High and as you would expect is a little on the ambient side of things... The difference between this album and say, Irresistable Force for me is that most of Mixmaster's stuff has me expecting it to pick up and take off but it never wants to leave its earthly domain. Syzygy does more than that, I mean these tracks don't pick up considerably, but they do peak brilliantly at points. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone knows anything about the chaps behind this genius and whether there is anything else they've done that I should be on the look out for. The number on the CD is RSN CD22. Any help would be appreciated, "To be normal is the ideal aim of the unsuccessful." - Carl Jung. Chris.

Dominic Glynn and Justin McKay. Ahhh! The album of albums on Rising High. Amazing stufff, but the really good stufff was appearing on the SECRET LIFE OF TRANCE, and CHILL OUT OR DIE! compilations. Here's are a few good examples: sysygy-'discovery' sysygy-'osiris' sysygy-'morphic resonance' sysygy-'never come down' many of these are prime examples of the early so called "goa trance" sound that is being popularised today with labels like Dragonfly, Le Petit Prince, and Blue Room Released.
