How come nobody ever talks about the music around here anymore, I mean, the actual music, beyond the cat no's and track lengths and such... anyway... Did anyone find this new single of his to be as intriguingly different from all the previous AFX releases as I did? I don't know about you, but the production quality on this one sounds, to my ears, about 199 million times better than all his previous efforts to date. It is not even that distorted... not to say it sounds thin or whatever, it is punchy and in your face as ever, but every sound comes out beautifully and unmuddied... did he buy all new recording gear or what? The strings in the title track sound real enough to be real... This is a genuinely great release, his best to date I think. He is really showing us that he has become an accomplished musician in addition to being wierd and extracting unique sounds from his gear...

Yes. Various bit's of new equipment have resulted in vastly improved production quality. g.
