re: thread title I've heard and read lots potshots taken at the electro-as-nostalgic-cheese target by those who don't like the stuff, but it's strange that there are almost as many taken by those who would otherwise support the style, especially on a mailing list whose reigning labels would not exist (in their present form...one could argue that there still isn't enough Lex Loofah vinyl out here) without the history of electronic breakbeat. who _is_ spinning? There are a few DJs around here (and even out in the non-mailinglist world) that would fit verrrry nicely in a lineup like that! I wonder if there have been any all electro events anywhere. eric, sweating for a road trip
