Yes, it is meaningless to compare one track with an entire album. However, I find the urge to play Abla Eedio surfaces around once every two days, whereas after the initial few listens I feel no such urges for any material on Music For Adverts. I've heard it (A.E.) played out a couple of times and it sounds great. There is clearly a difference in philosophy between Ed/Andy and Ken, so perhaps we should just accept that. Isn't it the case that two of the tracks on the Clear EP are 5 years old? It's my hope that the Plaid album will be of the same quality as Abla Eedio and the GFQ remix (for which, t'anks to g.). adam

Yes - 2 of the tracks are from the impossible to get 'Mbuki Mvuki' mini Lp , released on Black Dog Productions - BDPLP001- all you notepad people. I think all this Plaid v Black Dog is pointless anyway, it is just sad that the 2 camps are not working together , but I think 'Music for Adverts'' is a damn fine piece of music and some of Plaid's recent remix work has been shall we say .. less than outstanding..... sm @ 4th world *cutting edge mail order* http://ourwrold.compuserve.com/homepages/4thworld/
