heh. I cleaned out Sister Ray the other day... But they still have at least one copy of Wagon Christ's first EP, _Sunset Boulevard_. Which is rather good, in a similar vein to Phat Lab Nightmare. Bu twiht more (wappy) beats. Also found Caberet Volatire _What Is Real_ there. Which I'd been looking for for about 3 years. Classic, classic, sheffield sound. Fortunately there is a non-vocal mix too! Also got got an amazing Plaid thing: Kushti _Freestyle_ on Octopus Records it has three mad warm salsaesque Plaid mixes. And it sound good at the wrong speed too (CiM :). Also _South of Market_ ep on Reflective which sees the Plaid boys teaming up with Mark Broom and Jonah Sharp. Equally awesome. Oh and I even managed to find an At Atmos red vinyl 12er at last. Sister Ray is really quite good. They also had all the basic channels, Plus8's, and URs. But the the staff are a bit, well, blank really. Not rude, but not exactly world class conversationalists. g3 g The WARP Web Site 3 0 3 http://www.ncl.ac.uk/~n264671/wap-indx.html

It is best kept a secret methinks :) It's not as cool as Fat Cat but it is a quid cheaper per single and up to 3 quid cheaper for a CD album. Staff are best described as 'distant'. And when I asked them why they were asking 25 quid for a yellow Universal indicator a year ago when your local our price had five copies at 4 quid the bloke grinned and said "well we get lots of mug tourists you know" ... g.

I totally agree. One of the best mail order shops in England. They have never let me down either. Excellent knowledgable staff indeed, good selection of electronica, fair prices, and they take Visa. What more can you ask for? Oh yes, they even go e-mail: sisterray@thenet.co.uk (The only thing I don't like, is that they don't deduct VAT to us outside EU...)
