I believe that was Dr Alex Paterson of the Orb ... therefore, sadly, not local. I know he's been playing the newest Locust and Autocreation every night, but beyond that it's anyone's guess.

Yes, Muslimgauze gives his musical interpretation of Bullwinkle in lingerie! _Silknoose_ is excellent, IMHO, and something of a departure at the time. Very loud, distorted, occasionally tripped out. Minimal in terms of melody and texture (one drumloop/one instrument loop/one vox sample), but surprisingly atmospheric in its chunky, dusty way. Strongly reminiscent of labelmates Esplendor Geometrico, or maybe he's been hanging out with Paradinas a bit. One hour, 15 tracks. Oh, and the person who was asking about Dominic Woosey shouldn't forget about his _Straylight_ on Recycle Or Die! --Seofon

What? I don't know if you went to the show, but the first DJ was Spooky That Sublimal Kid and the DJ after that was Los Angeles own Jason Bentley. By the way, does anyone know anything about Jason Bentley? Where he came from, if he does any private stuff and so on? I'm putting together a web site. DaviD S.
