To the person who asked about the name Aphex Twin, this is the story I heard: I don't know about "Aphex". But Richard always seemed to like ph's, look just at the song titles of "Classics". And "Twin" then: Richard James was born on the same day as Tom Middleton (Global Communications), so when they formed a band in Cornwall a long time ago they called themselves the Aphex Twins, and when they broke up, Richard was the only Aphex Twin left. As has been mentioned, Aphex is a manufacturer of audio gear with slightly risque names like the 'Exciter' and the 'Dominator.' If you're looking for a deeper theme there, I think RDJ has a fondness for synthetic product names like Aphex and Ventolin. Product names in general, as in 'Alberto Balsam.' This is a theme picked up by Muziq, as in 'Salsa With Mesquite.' --------------------------------------------------------------------- "Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach's sake and thine often infirmities" -- First Timoth 5:25, to which I can only add "Spodee Odee!"
