I'd

I got this one a while back also..very interesting Indeed. Funky computers and odd sensibilities. I read somewhere that Nev is some sort-of brainiack smarty pants, compu guru.. Anybody know? I've also been waiting for a LONG time for the Nev album on GPR?! ***Hey Alan..has ModernMusic got any updates from GPR as to when this will be released??**

Even better..I've got it too. (Nev - From Above It Ripples Over Stones) One of my favorite records. Desmond K. Hill wrote a great review of this, which I saved. I'll try to dig it up.. Anyone else got any info? -FP

Apparently GPR experienced problems a while back and have switched distribution in a major restructuring, (to a major distributor as it happens!!) , only release scheduled is an LP from Luke Slater's 7th Plain entitled "Playing With Fools" , cat. no . GPRLP16 , date October 1996. Nev was a mate of Mark Gage's wasn't he? , he featured on of of the Trance Atlantic compilations , and in the booklet that accompanied said cd , there was a lengthy article about him , I will try and dig it out... BTW - the Nev and a lot of other GPR stuff often turns up in the bargin bins over here - not a reflection on the music I hasten to add , but a reflection on the type of people stocking it!! sm@ 4th world records uk http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/4thworld "he who seeks only vanity and has no love for humanity -shall fade away" - New Age Steppers
