predictable and disposable is one thing, but can anyone explain to me what this "revival" logic is all about? I mean, anyone who knows about Underground Resistance, NCP labels, JS Kane, R+S rekks, etc. knows that electro has been coming out on 12" for many of the intervening years since Herbie got the Grammy. To say that there's a revival implies that there's been some kind of deluge of electro releases and press writings. As someone who is eagerly awaiting this level of availability (the predictably subsequent sycophantism, lowering of general quality, etc. are to be expected too), I have to say that I haven't found electro any easier to find and buy these days than 5 or 6 years ago (cept for www.submerge.com).
