I went to my local idm dealer, this past weekend with intention of
picking of _Calcutta Cyber Cafe_. He didn't have it so I listened to
a disc in the D 'n B section that I hadn't heard of before.
Infinite Wheel, and the LP is _BLOW_
Possibility that I have that backwards.
---------------------------------------
It has jungle influence at certain points, but would not declare it
pure. The albumn has a lot of different influences. It has some
ethnic flares in certain songs, while in others it is completely
absent. Driving techno beats in some songs, and the d 'n b drum
beats in others. Music ranges from being spliffed out spaceness of
some ambience to hard driving electronica. And it's all quite good.
Asking my idm "pusher" why he put this in the Drum n Bass bin he said
he didn't know how to pigeonhole it. And they had released some EP's
that were exclusively Drum 'n Bass.
It has a very interesting cover. It has a child's face whose cheek
forms into a woman's nipple. Opposite the nipple is a woman's breast
on which the nipple forms into a baby's face which is sucking on the
other nipple. Very odd.
