My eye caught what Alan M. Parry wrote: mn> Nev : My Plama Block EP $9.99 Plasma :-) As I recently found this GPR-release in the shops - and rather like it - I'd like to know more about this. Can anybody fill me in about Nev? Browsing through the list of for sale goodies I noticed: mn> Tusken Raiders : Bantha Trax $9.99 One of the BEST. My ep of the year that one ... (Can't remember whether that was 1994 or 1995 though ...) just thought I'd let you know, Helen - .38

I've liked that one for quite a while, sometimes even play a few of the tracks at 45. I read somewhere that Nev (whoever he is, can't find the record right now) is a pal of Mark Gage, AKA Vapourspace & Cusp. I also think that it said they had done some work together. Must be a fellow Canadian. I've got one other Nev record called "Water rippling over stones" or something like that, also on GPR. Unfortunately that one's been lost in my 'limbo' crates for so long that I can't even remember what it sounds like. That's all I've got! Now my question. What's Mark Gage does lately? Haven't heard anything from him since 'Vista Humana'. I really like his music and saw him play live once and he was amazing. I'm usually out there shaking my butt, but when I heard the first notes of Gravitational arch of 10, all I could do was stand there with my jaw dropped and stare. He was sitting on the floor, on pillows with all of his gear around him in a big square. Rocked the house, that's what he did! One of the finest "live" performance I've ever seen. thanks, brock NP: Jean-Michel Jarre - "The Concerts in China"
