It's bloodletting time at IDM, so here's a recommendation while you ponder
who to attack next:
Have a listen to the new Red Snapper album (released on Monday 9th in UK).
Now I never really went in for Red Snapper in their first flush of activity
(Reeled and Skinned etc.) but seeing them live gave me cause to
re-evaluate. They're really "quite good".
This new album is also surprisingly good. There's actually a lot more
going on than you'd think in these songs, and some nice tempo variation. I
prefer the slower numbers, as that's where the most experimentation goes
on, but even the faster ones have lots to offer.
It's a damn fine listen, viewers.
