People are obviously confused: there are TWO Levi's ads being discussed. The older one, in black & white, features Biosphere's "Novelty Waves." It hasn't been shown in the US much. There's a newer one, also being discussed, that's in color, with a young man who's been cleaning a swimming pool being patted down unsuccessfully for a key he's hidden in the "fifth pocket" of his jeans. The soundtrack to this ad has the John Barry/Ennio Morricone twangy-guitar sound so popular lately, and I agree with earlier posters: it was probably composed especially for the ad. Incidentally, the ad was filmed at the J. Paul Getty museum in Malibu, so the young man is searched standing in about the same place that Navin Johnson attacked Iron Balls McGinty in 'The Jerk.'
