I thought MBM was ace in Chicago -- too bad the sound guy was deaf. While I'm really happy to see acts coming to Houston (I just moved here from LA) I don't know how good that show sounds. I saw at least Loop Guru in concert at Organic '96 (which kicked a lot of ASS by the way) and he honestly was very dissapointing, even if you like his albums. m@

I too am an ex-LAer. I actually haven't heard any Loop Guru, but from what I've heard from his stylee (ethnic-y techno) he sounds like he might be cool.
