Any opinions on the 4-Voice recordings by Namlook? I am about to mail order a few things and I came across it. Is it more ambient or IDM related? Worth my time or more of his standard EMS type of recordings? I just bought a 4-Voice and I am interested in what he is doing with his. I understand that his is extensively modified. Any info on the mods? I didn't find this discussed in archives...sorry if I overlooked it. I am happy to be new to the list so that I have more than Wire and Urb to rely on. I wouldn't call it IDM. It does have some ambient on it but it doesn't fit in very well. The rest of "4voice" is real good analog hardtrance. Much more ravey and mindblowing than today's trance IMO (especially "Move #2"). Then the album has pretty pathtetic song titles ("Join us on our journey to the final frontier" for example) but I can live with that.
