I thought I'd mention a new cd I got: "Ten" by EBI which I think many of you would like. It has idm/trance but is also dreamy, ambient, spacey. I've been playing it every day! The artist's name is Susumu Yokota. I have his first cd "Zen" which is a little more austere but beaty and spacey at the same time. I hear he has a cd out on Silent (which I've never liked much). Anyone heard it or know anything about it or anything else he's done? Susumu was involved in the Frankfurt-Tokyo Connection on Harthouse, the EBI twleves on Space Teddy, and recorded several releases on the underrepresented superlabel, Sublime. His "Acid Mt. Fuji" CD (Sublime srcd01 1994) is an epic 74 minute journey of repetition, melody, and whacked sounds. eric

His new CD 'Anima Mundi' has been released at the brand new Super Stage Records in Tokyo. That's nice production, an original, soundz like japanesque trip-hop. Check the [ZAPP] to the [MAX] at http://www.bekkoame.or.jp/~yak/index.html His discog (writing himself): will be updates... y.
