Jon Drukman wrote: double CDs are actually coming way down in price. and import or domestic status doesn't seem to apply... case in point: at the same Tower Records, i ---- I have noticed this too over the past year or so. I also noticed that the price of single CD's has gone up (from 14.99 to 15.99 at Tower), whereas double CD's have gone down (from over $20, to under). I know that many UK & european CD's are being sold to stores via a distributor (ie. Dutch East, World, Soleilmoon) or are getting US labels (Astralwerks) to slap domestic stickers on them & being sold at domestic prices. But this doesn't account for all of the cheaper imports, only labels that these distributors have picked up (incoming!,em:t, Sub Rosa, Touch/Ash, Crammed/SSR, Dorado, Beyond etc.) and then it is generally only full length, regular CD's that get such distribution. -chris
