Have a listen to yourself man!! You really sound like a pratt saying such... it's the music on the 12" that matters not the fact that it might have been written by Richard D. James. This is an example of why I am so critical of Warp's, Rephlex's and other record labels intentions when they release such limited vinyl releases... look at what sort of people it breeds!! :( I hope the guy's at Warp, Rephlex, etc are happy about creating such anally retentive people who couldn't give a fuck about the music but whether or not it'll become a collectors item because it was written by the likes of Richard D. Warp wants to put out interesting music by interesting people in interesting formats. This is the primary concern. Warp doesn't give out instruction sheets telling people how to react to them. ?? The reason people are obsessed by Richard music is because it does things for them other music doesn't. It's only natural to want to get as much of it as possible. It's quite simple. I really don't see why this should be so distressing to other people. what the fuck has it got to do with you anyway?? I find this whole 'anal' labelling thing quite amusing. Especially as it's invariably directed by people who hate being labeled or pigeon holed themselves. You intolerant ozzie bigot etc etc. When will people learn to look both ways before crossing? Having said all that I feel the music should be the primary concern. but this does not rule out others concerns. g.
