Hi Folks, <Chris Jeffs> 'Sunset' is the shit: Chris Jeffs excelling at the high class melancholy listening techno that is becoming his trademark. I reckon this is as good as the Kinesthesia LP which is very good indeed. Sometimes very quiet and subtle (some of the second side sounds like insects chewing) it won't be to everyone's taste. A relatively mellow affair compared to 'Industrial Folksongs' but I love it. In fact Chris Jeffs has been on my stereo so much recently that my urge to trainspot has been overwhelming. Has Chris produced anything other than the following? As Cylob: Industrial Folksongs Sunset Loops and Breaks Ventolin Remix As Kinesthesia: Vol 1 Vol 2 Empathy Box Empathy Box Remixes Cheers in advance for any info. love and kisses Rob ;-)

Hi Rob, There was a Cylob remix on one of Colin Newman's Swim remix 12"s. I'll get the full info later and post it. -->-Lance---

Don't really remember hearing the Cylob mix, but the G-Man (Gez Varley) mix of "Envelope" was easily one of the top 5 or so things I heard in '95. Oh those sounds! -d.w.
