I was actually wondering about the same thing. Usually when going to bed after a rave or a concert, I can hear music that I've never heard before loud and clear, just as if I had headphones on. Awesome tracks. It's an amazing experience. (I guess I might want to note here that I don't take drugs.) As soon as I start trying to concentrate on the music, though, it fades away; it only works while being in a really relaxed state. This continues while falling asleep and throughout my dreams, and often it's still on when I wake up in the morning, only to vanish when I go under the shower. I've been wondering whether or not this something special, but I guess the list is the wrong place to ask, since it's safe to say that we all have a stronger bond with music than the average joe... --tom __________________________________________________________________________ \tom tonger quality ambient grooves precision snowboarding\ \_________________________________________________________________________\ /send digital transmissions to: t.tonger@ix.netcom.com / / a2632217@athena.rrz.uni-koeln.de / / tom_tonger@msn.com / /_________________________________________________________________________/ \receive redundant binary data: http://ernie.mi.uni-koeln.de/users/ttonger\ \transmit analog facsimiles to: 315.434.2503 \ \_________________________________________________________________________\

yes! It can happen to me when awake as well, especially after a rave and some freaky fungus. I don't advocate drug use, but it is worth it once to try eating a rather large amount of psilocybin (3-6 grams) and blasting the idm. Just dragging the needle across the record can sound like a mega lazer blast of bass. (not to open a can of worms, and start a debate on drug use) (I guess I might want to note here that I don't take

exactly, you kind of have to listen to it in the background and not pay to close attention to it when dreaming. I find that hitting the snooze button and sleeping for 10 minute intervals works well, cause i can kind of control the dreams better that way. derek obidm- i got a record called LZ131-on Zepplin recordings from Germany...suppossedly this guy has recorded stuff for cheap, anybody know more about this guy? the record is distorted as fuck electro very aphexy, electronomey etc. it only works while being in a really relaxed state.
