Haven't heard Mofung disc , but the Sympletic is pretty typical of the stuff
Broom has released in various shapes and forms over the last 2 years, check
out the following labels (all UK) , for better insight into what Mark has
been up to
in last couple of years ( apart from spinning loadsa UR classics while
dj'ing!!)
Ifach (run by Broom and Peter"Baby"Ford)
Now up to number 14 , most of releases have invloved Broom , sometimes
in cahoots with Ford , sometimes Hill, very abstract shifting funky techno,
couple
of Sympletic 12"s on this label.
Pure Plastic (run by Broom)
Up to No.7 , (No.8 is new Broom LP), more dancefloor aimed than Ifach,
all releases ,I think, are solely by Mark Broom.
Rewired (Ifach/Pure Plastic offshoot)
Up to No.4 , again much Broom involvement
3 Zone (yet another Broom operation, does this man sleep)
2 or 3 releases so far , more linear than Ifach material , think these
ones are again Broom on his tod!!
All the back catalogue for these labels is pretty much in print at
the moment - check em out .
