You guys remember this right: NME July 6, 1996 "Richard 'Aphex Twin' James is set to release another low-key AFX single through Warp imminently. Aphex, who previewed a host of new material to open mouthed punters at the launch for PLUG's 'Drum and Bass for Papa' LP at London's Blue Note Last week, will follow the single up with a fully-fledged Twin 45 and LP in September..." So this isn't the 'low key' single (even if it isn't as AFX) that precede's a forthcoming real release Aphex Twin single (possibly Boy/Girl?). At the risk of finding out just how many posts you can make in one night on the same subject I think you boys might be right. It might not be Aphex after all. After several more listens, Souff Souff seems the track most like Aphex (and if it isn't by god someone has some awnsering to do for ripping off HAB), but the others don't seem to quite click. The hollow tinny clicking on Dig Deep Bin seems like Autechre, and the rest seems like nothing I can really put my finger on. So I take it back, and now I'm totally confused. I think that Boy/Girl IS the low key single...remember Greg could say precious little about it... Andrew
