The first one has definitely been reissued, but I haven't seen the second one yet. Mind you, I already got it! But the first is much better. The third one, Skam7, has just been released, and is packaged in a nifty 12" bubblewrap slipcase. It's almost as good as the first one, with a wonderfully chunky b-side tune with some of the classic 'amber' style harping synth.

Well, now that I've actually heard all of the 12" Gescom releases, I felt that I should give my opinion. Of the three, the first one is the best, followed by the third, and finally the second one. The problem with the second one, is I don't feel satisfied after a listen. It needs more, well, oomph. The first and third work as eps. I can't understand how you could say "Mag" needs more "oomph", not in the way I understand the word anyway! Hip hop don't stop! (with uniquely autechre sounds rattling along gently in there too). However I can understand why people don't take to "Snackwitch" as it is a rather bizarre track with its cheezy news-bulletin stab and difficult lop-sided rhythm track. I suppose it's not an EP in the strict sense, though both tracks are fairly long. Speaking of "Snackwitch", I was wondering if anybody happened to know what movie or TV show that nice grand horn/drum loop was sampled from. Yes, Gescom 1+2 were re-released and even sold in Virgin Megastores. Both re-releases have slightly different covers. The huge box of Gescom 1 (original release) wasn't brought back. Thaddi
