A couple people posted earlier about the new Robert Gordon CD. I've liked what I've heard from him before -- the Forgemasters track from the 1st Warp comp and "Black Steel" EP, as well as the XON 12" w/ Richard H. Kirk. The new CD is new material? I have not picked this up yet, hoping for more information. How is the material on this CD on Source the same or different from the old bleep sound? I would hope Mr. Gordon would have developed in the last few years, though I must confess I haven't been keeping careful track and may have missed a lot of material in the last couple years. i checked it, last friday and altough I haven't bought it I have to say it's a descent techno album. About 12 tracks, of which some have d'n'b rhythms and other are in undercooled pure techno sound. A real nice one! Pure electronic music.
