Hello. A bit off-topic, I guess, but here goes. I'm on holiday for a month, so I'm gonna drive round Europe and go to a few gigs, and buy a few records, and I thought it would be pretty cool to meet up with some fellow listmembers. I'm planning on going to Amsterdam (for Autechre at the end of August) and Cologne for Alec Empire & Atari Teenage Riot (seeing as he won't play the UK anymore) on 16/17 August. Apart from that, I'm just gonna follow my nose. If anyone wants to meet up, please email me. *Gescom 3* My favourite Gescom SKAM EP. A bit like the Clear release. Great Musique Non-Stop type continuous voices. *Plug - Drum 'n' Bass for Papa* Absolutely stunning. First listen told me it wasn't as good as the EPs, but subsequent plays, and the reactions of my non-believing friends has convinced my otherwise. Much more "conventional" than Squarepusher and the like, but still really out there, with some amazingly fresh and inventive ideas. I've read complaints about the sitar on the last track, but when Those Chords move in it's fully justified. This year's Throbbing Pouch, and no mistake. keith duncan == unkind cheat kduncan@enterprise.net
