hey, Someone has been talking about bjork remixes... can anyone confirm that there is a Speedy J remix of Hyperballad called the "More than Human mix", someone told me about it, said it was released on vinyl only, but I haven't heard anyone else ever mention it, nor have I ever seen it. Did anyone else(besides the person who could hear it loud enough)catch that Speedy J broadcast and receive it w/o problems? I'm curious as to what the "future of idm" or whatever the hype was that +8 put out, sounded like. They played(attempted to play) the whole new Speedy J release? If so, why is it taking 6 more months to release? (don't answer that/start a thread, I learned my lesson), maybe I'll whine to +8 . I want more Speedy J now :) Anyone have any suggestions for something to tide me over till January? take care and e np: Pocket Bass from Teep, really really good :)

I can't directly confirm it, but it's very likely, as Bjork is very soon releasing a series of 6 limited edition (1000 copies incl. 50 promo) 12" remix singles. Collaborators include Black Dog, LFO, and Talvin Singh (Future Sound Of India). Two are ready, four are still in the pipeline. That's all I know now. Yeah I listened to the whole broadcast and received it loud and clear, with only 0.7% packet loss. The quality depends on your ISP, it seems my ISP has a fast link to Canada. I wish we could release the LP NOW! That's why we had the broadcast.. but because of commitments with other record companies and the amount of lead in time that they need (blah blah blah) we at Plus 8 have to wait until their ready to release!! If alot of people had problems listening to the Speedy J broadcast, please let me know.. we figured out the problem, and if there's a demand, we can set up another broadcast. Thanks. Richie Hawtin
