Pardon the interruption, but: I'm looking for someone who has, I suspect, changed his e-mail address. (cue "Music for Adverts"!) "Attention Shoppers: Would Derek/"Dr. Giggles"/moses@imagina.com - whoever and wherever you might be - please e-mail me ASAP. Thank you - and have a nice day" and to add a bit of IDM-L relevancy: 1. anyone have a Skam discography? What was SKA001? 2. any thoughts on the first Neuropolitique album as compared to _Nomenclature_? a few ratings/opinions: 9/10 for the incredible Chimera _Valley of the Spirits_ CD. Sublime techno with the most savory hint of E, Detroit-style. U-Ziq meets Psyche? Totally refreshing after a breakbeat overdose. :) 8.5/10 for Plug's _Drum 'n' Bass For Papa_. Very good, but _Rebuilt Kev_ it's not. Unit Moebius' _Life Mood 1-8_ = an 8/10. FRIGID but crystalline minimalist techno which is further graced with a pair of outstanding Starfish Pool remixes. G-Man's _Kushti_ (CD) = 10/10, compared with Speedjack's _Surge_, a definite 7/10 (just to choose sides in the LFO alliance-wars... :-P) another 10/10 for Foul Play's triumphant return, the "Vice" 12" EP - breathtaking jazzy jungle which outclasses just about everything since (yet another 10/10) JAMES HARDWAY's _Deeper...Wider...Smoother....Shit" LP. Both are worth anything that da Metalheadz have ever put their name on - as is LES RHYTHMES DIGITALES' _Kontakte_ EP. ...but what would a guy who's been listening to Durutti Column albums all day know? :-) 'dat picky and stubbornly opinionated DroneNBasstard DroneNBass@aol.com

The net vet Steady J has a website with a Skam discography. But I don't have his URL in front of me right now. I'll send it to you later. As for Skam #1, I believe it was a limited edition, promo only release that very few people have or even know about.

Actually _Nomenclature_ is Neuropolitique's third album. The first album was _Minage Je Trois (sp)_ on Irdial and it is very similar in sound to _Nomenclature_. Good clean crisp techno seasoned with a nice dose of detroit. Some of these tracks may even be on the new album seeing that _Nomenclature_ is a compilation of old and new Neuropolitique tracks. The second album _Have You Ever..._ on New Electronica is unbelievibly innovative and unique. Mad rhythmic patterns insane melodies. Highly recommended. Neuropolitique also released a few singles on the renown ART label. They've been featured on the Objects D'Art 4x12" and the more recent Objects D'Art 90-94' 2xCD. -->-Lance---

A few people know about it, but no-one has it as I have stated earlier. g.

Why can't you just say what it is? This "I know but I won't tell" stuff has been going on for months about skam 1...it's getting old. T.

So it doesn't exist, or is there just so few out there that it seems that way? _-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_-_- J A M E S B E N J A M I N G I L L U N F O R T U N A T E L Y L I V I N G I N A R I Z O N A J G I L L @ U .
