I got my hands on a copy of the CD single version which holds the original track as well as the four remixes. I think it lasts approximately thirty seven and a half minutes, and it's pretty much full on all the way. STRETCH the remixes. 1.Original version. I've liked this since i first heard it on the Jellytones CD from last year. It's not my favourite track off Jellytones, but it's excellent all the same. The track in true Ken Ishii style is experimental and loosely falls around an extremely lush rhythm. 2.Stretch Ian Pooley remix. Ian Pooley, both house and techno producer, has produced some excellent music. A particular favourite is his Twin God vol 1 ep from a few years back. I think it features on x-mix 3. This remix is nine and a half minutes long, and continues the techno theme from the original. A strong beat and a vague slow build up, until aproximately five minutes through the track it becomes a killer, subtlety is the main word here, and excellence of course. 3.Stretch regenerated. Ken Ishii on his own mix, and boy dis he want to do something different with it. Some form of Sampled Funky slap bass type line with heavy effects, and well all round it's hard to explain but sampled disco techno in an extremely intelligent way! Humm. 4.Stretch Shogun remix. Drum'n'Bass! Fast, furious, Jumpin'. The beats are fast, and you can hear snippets of the original, a feature that i've come to recognise in the other tracks also. Remixed is definately the word. There's some three note tune played over the top in true jazzy retro style. the Rhythm is what this ones all about. 5.Stretch Frank de Wulf remix. Frank de Wulf has taken a step towards breakbeats recently, and this is the pinnacle as far as i'm concearned. It sounds similar is some respects to the old hardcore sounds, and drum'n'Bass and breakbeat techno, but with the cutting of mr.Ishii's original strange sounds, sampling the poriginal percussion and transforming it into breakbeats makes this a truely amazing remix. All in all a really cool package. It is a hard act to follow, the extra single in the same way amazed me, but without the same diversity that this package has got. The JellyTones lp is probably the hardest act to follow, an excellent lp, extremely well produced. Stretch, i must admit, wouldn't have been my choice for the single, but after hearing the remixes, i can guess why it was. Nick.

<snip> On vinyl, there are the four remixes without the original, on red vinyl (maybe limited red), which is RS96093. So what is 96093X??
