I've done the same thing myself.. Try Isopropyl Alcohol (tape head cleaner) over the whole of the record, then (if your stylus is up to it) play the whole thing backwards.. All the crap in Coca-Cola is water soluble. I think the chap with the suggestion of using a dilute solution of Alconox (laboratory glassware cleaner) and water had the right idea. You might want to use distlled water to reduce the abount of residude left behind, though the Alconox will help with that. Le Wrench
