Yuzo did the music for the 'Streets of Rage' series, along with many other Sega games. Apparently, he's very popular in Japan. He sells cd's and does live shows of the game music, along with many other artists in Japan. On the subject of video game music and idm: Has anyone heard of a Tekken soundtrack? Tekken is a 3d street-fighter type game. I heard that the soundtrack has jungle/d&b remixes of the original game music. I think T-Power did one of the remixes, don't know about the others. Has anyone heard this? Any good? Know where to get it? Kevin

It was called _Windemere: The Jungle Mixes_ and was released on JVC. Remixers were T-Power, Lemon D, Dillinja, and Dubtronix. Copies might be still lying around some of the shops in NYC, but I'm not sure.... - Matthew

I like this record. It came out a bout 2 months ago on JVC (!) records in conjunction with, uh, Namco (I have 'not at home' syndrome right now). 5 mixes, a lame T-Power techno-jungle blab, an OK Dillinja hardstepper, a nice Lemon D take (all of these apparently are from the game music, but they don't share many common bits), with some Plug 1-esque electronics over some thick rolling beats, and two Dubtronix tracks that are miles ahead of their ragga bits from the past and easily the best trrracks on the EP, subtle beat experimentations and smooth electronics that don't soften it up too much like alot of the intelliambijungle coming out these days (and there is a lot of that!). Not that softness isn't any good in itself, but hey, let's have some contrast out there.. eric
