got them all, and most of them are Mark Broom releases.. Maybe some with help of Dave Hill or Peter Ford, don't know.. Guess 05 hasn't any Plaid, I mean I hadn't any feeling like 'this is not Broom' or some. And as the stasis thing did, it was explicit mentioned. Imho 1, 4 and 7 are best. Also check out the labels rewired, 3 zone and ifach, same stuff :) gonzales - delsin http://wwwedu.cs.utwente.nl/~wielen/

I heard a rumor from someone that Pure Plastic 05 is suppose to be Plaid (at least one side). I could be wrong but it was from a credible source. I have been thinking about picking up the rest of them. I really like 4 & 6, they are really nice. The Ifach stuff is pretty cool. I am not familiar with 3 zone or rewired, at least nothing comes to mind. Hey does anyone know when that Plaid full-length is going to come out on WARP? I heard that there was suppose to be a new single a LONG time ago.

I believe ther was some Ed handywork. btw Plaid wrote a few tracks on the new Nicolette album. At least one of the tracks is awesome dreamy end of night number.

Ed and Andy are too busy with Bjork to do boring things like writing albums at the moment :) However they are still writing for it and something will be out within a year or two :) g.

The track "We never know" is a really cool bouncy plaid electroey production, very nice, and comes on a 12" with an excellent jungle mix plus the stormingly noisy Alec Empire produced "Nightmare". Anyone who likes this "funky idm-ish with distinctive girl vocals" kinda sound (see also Lamb, Bjork, Massive Attack), I suggest you check out "miracle" by Olive. There are copies in bargain bins now and it's well worth picking up, especially for the Monkey Mafia mix. do I get a prize for going off at a tangent?

I had also heard that 05 was a Plaid production, but it certianly didn't sound like one when I heard it. Who knows for sure, eh? ;) - Matthew

So is the PP05 just Ed Handley or does he collaborate with Mark Broom. Have you heard of a band called BISK? It is suppose to be in the same vein as Autechre and the noisier side of Aphex Twin. I have heard that this is a really excellent release, i just ordered it. I haven't seen anyone on IDM mention them yet. B i l l S a m u e l s w l s @ U . A r i z o n a . E D U On now: Pure Plastic 04

Ed alone is the great Balil wonder also.. There should be a record under the name of 120 or some by Ed and Andy, but I never saw it.. It should be distributed by Kudos, but mr Danny Kudos doesn't know either.. Anyone? gonzales - delsin http://wwwedu.cs.utwente.nl/~wielen/
