Oooh I love the sound of "wow and flutter" .... $200-$250 for a Juno 106, get me hat and coat I'm coming over ... your looking at 450Ukpounds over here. However gear is always more expensive in the UK :( Even on new gear we pay well over the odds Obviously the manufacturers can't quite handle a complicated mathematical equation like $1.50=1Ukp, it's easier to just replace the dollar symbol with a pound sign. Overall, you quoted $500 other people said a basic estimate was nearer $1000 and we could say that transpires to around 1000 Ukp. That in my book is a fair amount of cash even for the most basic of bedroom setups. It's obvious you need a fair degree of commitment to warrant spending that sort of cash, so the least you would expect is a return on your investment once you sell some records. Leading back to my original point about wanting a wider audience for your "product / art". I'm not saying be a bread head, but some return on your investment means you won't be on the bread line ... On the US attitude to dance music tip ...

Interstingly as a comparison this was the attitude of most school children in the 1980's over this side of the pond. So maybe there is some hope of change when the non IDM'ers of the US "grow up" .... M:)
