I have bought a UK pressing. It wasn't noticably quiet, and certainly not of poor quality, but neither did it astound me with its clarity or volume - just normal, good sound. I guess with 3 tracks on some sides we can't expect it to be cut very loud; haven't tried mixing with it yet.
