Hello,
about the "keep music underground" thread :
some of you forget to include the price of expensive things like computer,
mixing desks, effects (reverb, compressor...) and, believe me, they're
quite all necessary!
cleaning vinyl:
I've READ once (don't blame me if it's hoax) that you could wet a dusty
record with distilled water (steal your mother's iron!!) and listen
to it while it's wet. The dust cover is softened by water and everything
sounds fine... Again, it depends on what kind of coke you've got on
your record!
BUT the dry dust will become harder than ever and you'll have to wet your
record each time you'll listen to it again!!!
