Yes chris grey does some deep stuff. Chris Gray is a chicago house producer that has recorded for Fragmented, Trackmode, Mind Message Music, and Tektite to name a few. His style is deep melodic house very much in the Larry Heard style. Actually Chris Gray did two remixes for Larry Heard on the recent Larry Heard: Dance 2000 - Chicago Connection remix 12" on Distance. Anyway here are a few Chris Gray releases to check: . Re: V/A - Deeper Side Of The Internet (Deep4Life) I think I have already mentioned this superb 'world electronic' compilation that puts a soulful/ sublime angle to the minimal IDM tip! If you like the Playhouse, Perlon and Tektite-style then you are guaranteed to love this. This compilation was spawned out of contacts Chris made whilst on several internat chat channels including IRC/ Effnet. Some of the producers are fairly established, some are unknown quantities from obscure places. There are several releases on Chris' Deep4Life imprint, namely his amazing Emotional Distortion LP and a vinyl sampler to this CD. There is also a new single coming out quite soon - Moon Children Project. Stay tuned for Deeper Side 2, coming soon also. This made my top 10 of 99, but was dissapointed that only 2 other votes came in for it.
