I've heard about most of the upcoming Rephlex artists, but I have no clue what Chimera sounds like. Does anybody know what they sound like? I heard that the Leo Annibaldi is really dark, looking forward to it. When is Analog Bubblebath 5 coming out? I B i l l S a m u e l s w l s @ U . A r i z o n a . On what basis do you assume there will ever be an ABB5? Hangable Auto Bulb EPs 1 and 2 were arguably the continuation of the ABB series. there is lots of other AFX in the pipeline which _does_ exist, but is being worked on, ie. a new LP on WARP and the Caustic Window LP on Rephlex, not to mention the Mike & Rich album which is out very soon (promos have already been spotted, unfortunately I was pipped at the post) As for Chimera, I think we will have to wait and see. Leo Anibaldi is indeed pretty dark. J ^

I read about in numerous magazine articles, and even read an Rephlex email about it. THAT is how I can ASSUME!!!!

Thank You for telling me the OBVIOUS! I've known about all of that stuff for a Long time now. Why do you reply to my post, if you don't know the answer to my question. I not interested in OLD news.

The name AFX alone has nothing to do with Caustic Window or any other RDJ release. There will be an Analogue Bubblebath Vol. 5. HAB 1 & 2 were merely releases put out due to the fact that D & B/Jungle were gaining attention. HAB series are pretty recent, and he did them under AFX. Now he is working under Caustic Window. Later he'll work under Aphex Twinand later come back to AFX. It is a bit of a cycle.

Well I'm sorry to have offended you. Remind me to bring my asbestos suit next time. I don't remember there being such a rephlex mail, but I don't dispute that. As for what one reads in magazines it does have to be taken with a pinch of salt.

No. An "arguable" position, based on the title, and minor discussions which went on here at the time. ....

Isn't Chimera the new name Kosmik Kommando (aka Mike Dred) will be going under? I have the "Frequensieze" DBL-CD and DBL-12", as well as the first [DIATOMYC] 12" from him, and would like to see more come out and to pick up the other "hard-to-find" material on [DIATOMYC] and [MACHINE CODES]. Ya know....due to the fact that I've been out of town for a while, I kept this old strain in my mind about Chimera. Just to shed some light on this issue (hope it isn't to outdated).... Chimera is an Irish band on Grass Records. A couple of my friends work at Grass, and are incredibly excited about this project. It comes off to me somewhere between the Cocteaus and the Sundays....lilting vocals, lush instrumentation, enchanting sounds... If there is another Chimera in the mix, let me know. I'd love to pass on the word. For now, Corbin
