HEY I am not sure if this is the place to discuss FAX. If it is, I am surprised how little we talk about it. Anyway, I was curious if anyonw here knew what equipment Namlook did for his Caves of Cubik gig. Yeah, yeah, I know the equipment shouldn't be my main focus, it's the music that matters. Yes that's true, but all the NAMLOOK CD's (live stuff) have incredible sounds, like the PUTNEY discs.Therefor, I am extremely interested in what he used to create such wonderful sound. Thank you, gil ps. Watch out for DIODE, Colorado's own IDM band. Their track _Hair Gel_ will make you cream. That guy who does the Threads CD should get in touch with them. Better yet, these guys should submit their tape, then all of you will know that Colorado has some great musicians. Later... /\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\ NAME:Gil aka GMV500 E-MAIL: videla@colorado.edu WEB PAGE: yeah, right! check out my friends- http://ares.csd.net/~albumsup - http://www.uea.ac.uk/~u9506276 PHILOSOPHY: AMBIENT+BREAKDANCE= IDM FINAL WORDS: MORE BEER! \/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\\/\\/\/\/\\//\/\/\/\/\/\/\\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/\/

most of namlook's stranger sounds comes from his synthi, a small quasimodular synth in a suitcase made by ems. a wonderful machine for making otherworldy sounds. mark
