Well, I finally found the latest release from Sandoz, Dark Continent. As a self-declared RHK-nutt(ttt), I've dying to get this since it came out about a month ago, because I did not have the vinyl EP version. It contains ten tracks, the first six being of the EP (recorded early 1993, in between Digital Lifeforms and Intensely Radioactive), the other four being BRAND NEW tracks (according to the booklet they were recorded in january 1996). The EP tracks sound very minimal and funky, much like Digital Lifeforms, Percussion Force or Colours. The four new tracks are best compared to the alphaphone releases, layered, complex and beautiful. All tracks are uptempo and nice to shake around to, although my room is quite small. YUMMY ! P.S. : Thanks to the list people for getting me an address where I could find the one alphaphone is was missing ! Now I just have to get some old Sweet Exorcist stuff and the Mood Set EP. Anybody selling ? P.P.S. : In Order To Dance 6 (Drum-N-Bass) is absolute crap ! (except for the last track of each disc which have some "balls" to it). dv8 (buy Subliminal Sandwich or die)

It's a new release on CD but not on vinyl, the EP was released in 1993. The CD has four extra tracks which were recorded in january 1996. A TRACK CALLED _DARK CONTINENT_ IS INCLUDED ON THE CD AND VINYL (now deleted). BTW, the 9th track (Gun) is the best IMO, very funky with the typical RHK samba groove and noisy bits. An absolute must ! dv8 (buy Subliminal Sandwich or die)
