Aw yeah, another great bass player as a front man. I bought and still listen to Jaco Pastorius, Miroslav Vitous, and Charles Mingus records back in the day. I don't know if I'd put Jenkinson QUITE in their league, but he's definitely got some style going on. The Insert in 'Feed Me Weird Things' gives us all a chance to play 'spot the gear' I see a TR909, either a DR660 or a R8, a TB303, a Jupiter 6, a TR707. None of these, by the way, except the 303, sound like they're on the record in an overt way. There is one breakbeat that's a 606 in double speed mode. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Check the lame home page http://soli.inav.net/~kent/ Kent Williams kent@inav.net CADSI 2651 Crosspark Road Coralville IA 52241 (319) 338 6053 (home) (319) 626 6700 x 219 (work) (319) 626 3489 (fax)

660, definately. top keys is a 101...under it a 3-octave, mini-keyboard of some sort... looks like a pedal next to the 303, too. I'm having trouble finding a jupiter or a 707 here... whats that next to the reel-to-reel? (707?) and what analogue box are the headphones resting on? is that an akai in a rack under the 303? hmmmm... christian ps Feed Me.. is indeed a fine record, but it didn't melt my brain like disc two of Subliminal Sandwich...

Nah, too big for a 101, and a 101 doesn't have that Roland pitch waggle. That's what I thought was a JP6, but on examining size, I'd guess it's a juno106.

Which could be a 606 -- identical case to a large extent.

You using some sort of 'Face On Mars' image enhancement? below the 303 is inky blackness. Next to the 303 (towards the 808 is something like a SE50 or SE70 effects box. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Check the lame home page http://soli.inav.net/~kent/ Kent Williams kent@inav.net CADSI 2651 Crosspark Road Coralville IA 52241 (319) 338 6053 (home) (319) 626 6700 x 219 (work) (319) 626 3489 (fax)

I still think a 101, I think i can see the sequencer/arpeggio buttons above keys... 'pitch waggle'? if you mean a bender, mine has one.

true enough, but, with all the squiggles, i think the former.
