I picked it up quite a while back. I thought it was an excellent listening album. Its very laid back trip hop ala portishead, Howie B and U.N.K.L.E. in the sense that the tracks are very barren. Not very lush or sample filled. Some slight vocals in places but not much. Big beats but very morose. Not a pick me up album for sure. _Snakes Pass_ (also on 12") is the best track with a westen style geeetar feel. The only complaint I have is that all the tracks are really short. Most are like 4-5 minutes which in some cases is not enough time for the track to go anywhere. It also makes it hard to mix with as the song is done shortly after you mix into it. -- Mark Bowen mb@gettins.bche.uic.edu
