Yeah, but trouble is I have to wait till sometime next week for it to arrive in the mail. Grr. Squarepusher just "clicked" for me today; after listening to "Bubble and Squeak" a few times and reveling in its excruciating complexity, I gave the old Duke Of Harringay and Squarepusher Plays a few whirls, and something sounded really different about them as far as my whole attitude toward the music... Whereas before I had thought Squarepusher was pretty good, but not the sort of genius that he is being hyped as, I now believe the term "genius" does not do him justice one little iota. All I can say is, keep listening, and your "life will be changed", as Rephlex said a long while ago on the IDM list. It really takes a while to get used to Jenkinson, because his sound is just so ahead of its time... but once his musical concepts begin to unravel themselves, and you start seeing where he is coming from, there is no going back.

Egad... I swear to god I can't walk into a record store these days without tripping over a copy of Alroy Road Tracks... But why the hell can't I find Conumber, on the same label? Does someone have an extra copy they want to send me in exchange for major $$$$?

No, he's even better.
