Was wondering why MP3.com didn' thave a "collage" genre... Seems W.W.J.D? tracks are "on hold" for copywrite concerns. Oh-bother. At least I got a free record bag out of 'em. :) Luckily, SFWD.org has no such qualms. Me. Yea, they don't allow any samples at all, they claim, but I've heard shitty remixes of pop songs (Bitter Sweet Remix by Typhoon comes to mind) and I've heard plenty of Simpsons samples or the like... They've shut down a few of my songs for sampling and a few for offensive titles and/or content... They're pretty lame when it comes to this, really... I mean, do they really have to cover their asses that much? How about if there's a complaint they remove it, but don't worry about it until then? Also, yea, they have very limited genres... They got rid of "Jungle" and "Hardcore Techno," which is what a good chunk of my songs were under... I mean, they have "Funky Breaks" and "Progressive Electronica" but they don't even have *ELECTRO*! Fucking Electro, which started electronic music, and they don't have it? But they have room for Vocal House? C'mon, seriously? Anyway, I just put everything under "Experimental" or "Drum and Bass" now and put descriptions in the song title instead... It's dumb. -- :: atomly :: atomly@atomly.com | atomly@atdot.org | atomly@cyrus.net http://www.atomly.com | http://www.mp3.com/atomly [CELL|(888)522.3830] | [CELL|(701)729.1631] | [HOME|(651)748.8676] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: idm-unsubscribe@hyperreal.org For additional commands, e-mail: idm-help@hyperreal.org
