Depends on what version of Control panel you have - in the latest one, there is simply an option for 'User Defined Bank' alongside General Midi, MT32 etc. Cheers, SjaY. *Fido* 2:250/151 *E-Mail* Geotrax@jukjoint.warp.co.uk ___ * UniQWK v4.1 * The Windows Mail Reader

well, i found it incredibly difficult to do this and actually get a sequencer to use my soundbank. so, i'll explain a bit - it might help :) make your soundbank and load it into control panel by choosing user bank 1 and loading it in, then pressing set. the problems came with getting the sequencer to use it, as you have to set controller 0 to value 1 for _all_ the tracks that you wish to use your sounds on. this is bloody irksome, so if someone has a quicker way (i use cakewalk) i'd really appreciate it. jamex ------------------------------------------------- jamex - Snake Posse Productions http://www.u-net.com/~snake -------------------------------------------------
