I haven't got any of the comps you mentioned in front of me, but I'll name a few tunes that you might have heard which use it... 2 Player - 'Extreme Possibilities (Wagon Christ mix)' Plug - 'Military Jazz', 'Cheesy (Amen mix)' DJ Food - 'Scratch yer Hed' (Squarepusher mix) Source Direct - 'Secret Liaison' and 'The Crane' Aquarius - 'Dolphin Tune' Peshay - 'Piano Tune' J Majik - 'Arabian Knights', 'Needlepoint Majik' and 'Your Sound' Dillinja - 'Ja Know Ya Big' and loads of others Doc Scott - 'Drumz 95' Intense - 'Breathless' It also appears in the original form on NWA's 'Straight Outta Compton' and the original is taken from the b-side of 'Amen, Brother' by the Winstons. You'll recognise it instantly as soon as you figure out which one it is - it's *the* most used break in jungle. Now you've just got to spot the 'helicopter' and 'apache' breaks... see ya ____________________________________________________ tom churchill e-mail: tom@chrchfam.demon.co.uk 'each new hour holds new chances for new beginnings' dj/musician/clubber/reviewer......scene but not herd ____________________________________________________
